The Flower Grower of the Year Award recognises Sydney Markets flower growers who demonstrate a high degree of competence across a range of criteria including product quality, consistency, presentation, cleanliness, innovation, customer service and how the business operates within the Sydney Growers Market.
All flower growers who have a stall and trade in Sydney Markets GTA can be nominated or nominate for this Award.
Step 1: Each nominee will be required to support their nomination by providing Sydney Markets Limited (SML) with the contact details for 3 buying customers.
Step 2: The buyers will be asked to complete an online survey assessing the grower on quality, consistency, customer service, presentation and ordering process.
Step 3: All information will be gathered and scores tallied to determine the top four finalists for the Flower Grower of The Year Award.
Step 4: SML will conduct site/farm inspections to the four finalists – judging on presentation, infrastructure, innovation, cleanliness, environmental management.
Step 5: The buyers' scores for the four finalists will be collated together with SML's site assessments to determine the ultimate winner. The winner will be announced at the 2024 Fresh Awards event.
