Belfield Bloom’s ultimate goal is to make shopping for flowers and gifts a seamless experience every single time.

Belfield Blooms point of difference is their modern and spacious shop area and large glass display cool room which is used to show customers just how fresh their blooms truly are. The team at Belfield Blooms use their wealth of knowledge and experience to hand pick the best flowers and plants from across Australia and overseas.

Belfield Blooms style of floristry is modern classic but also very natural, and that’s because they love to showcase that there is nothing better than what Mother Nature delivers.

Belfield Blooms takes pride in their ability to offer a broad range of services for weddings, birthdays, special events and funerals with the upmost care and consideration in every step of the process.

B&M Florist: 41 O'Connell St, Monterey NSW 2217

In 1987 Bill and Maria Rizos took over Monterey Mixed business, a local corner store that sold groceries and a small number of flowers. Shortly after the name was changed to B&M Florist and Maria began to study the fine art of floristry. The business grew from a small suburb corner store to one of the largest and most awarded florists in New South Wales.

34 years later B&M Florist is still family-owned and run across the whole chain, from hand-selecting every individual flower to serving customers and doing deliveries. B&M Florist is a team of 10 and they pride themselves in offering exceptional quality flowers and goods.

The Rizos Family believes that having their flagship store after so many years makes them different from other florists in the industry. It allows them to provide consistently flawless service to their customers as well as allowing them to continually build on their solid reputation as a one stop go-to for all things floristry and gifts.




Non-Retail/Studio Florist

Hananingen Sydney: Hurstville NSW 2220

In the 3 years since establishment, Hananingen has quickly made a name for themselves in the industry as being the place where floristry meets art. Using carefully crafted florals Yuka Kono, owner of the Hananingen studio in Sydney, creates striking headpieces that can be used for photoshoots and runways as well as specialising in corporate floral styling, weddings and workshops for the public.

Due to Hananingen’s popularity, clients are required to now book up to two months in advance. In Yuka's Sydney studio, a client will have their makeup done and pick one favourite flower to start, Yuka will then take over and shape a flower arrangement on the client’s head. Once the piece is complete Yuka will allow the client to view her creation.

Yuka says that she wants her arrangements to be full of life and joy and through her work she aims to make her clients smile and encourage them to learn about and appreciate nature. Yuka’s knowledge on flowers and floristry means that her clients get a flawless experience and leave satisfied every single time.

Bella Floral Boutique: 5/63 Dora St, Morisset NSW 2264

Carmen Wells and her husband have owned Bella Floral Boutique for 6 years. Carmen’s average day begins with a trip to the Sydney Flower Market and she admits she often finds it hard to stick to her budget - regularly filling her van with an abundance of seasonal stock before embarking on the 1.5-hour drive back to her store.

By 8.30am, she’s back at the shop unpacking and getting ready for the day alongside her team. Carmen’s style involves simple colour palettes and natural products, often inspired by nature. She encourages her staff to embrace their own unique styles of floristry which in turn results in great variety for their customers.

The mantra ‘do what you love and you will always be happy’ resonates through the entire team at Bella Floral Boutique, who pride themselves on taking the time to get to know their customers from start to finish to ensure they feel valued at every point of interaction.




Merchandising and Branding Excellence

Touchwood Flowers: Shop 4, 124 Gordon St, Port Macquarie

For 15 of the 17 years that Ashley Sargeson has worked in floristry she has owned and operated Touchwood Flowers in Port Macquarie. The Touchwood style is simple, elegant and tropical and is largely inspired by Ashley’s fond memories of regular family holidays to Bali.

Having undergone a major rebrand, Touchwood flowers recently launched a brand-new website, logo, business cards and a re-usable tote bag. The informative and easy to use website is reflective of their contemporary rebrand and allows customers to conveniently shop online.

Touchwood flowers has also introduced scented candles and gift hampers into their repertoire which aligns with their brand perfectly; Making Touchwood a one stop shop for anything you need to make that special in your life feel valued and loved.

Community engagement is extremely important to Ashley and the Touchwood team. They have a long history of supporting and giving back to the local community. The team continuously work to improve their practises to ensure it is in line with their green commitment by recycling floral wrapping where possible, re-purposing fabric ribbons for arts and crafts and re-using boxes and baskets for general storage.
